A new video showcasing a 3D rendering of Apple’s upcoming Campus 2 has been created by design company Technology Integration Services Inc and was posted online today. The rendering provides a fly-through overview of the huge “spaceship-like” building and is based on publicly-available designs of the campus. The video begins with a bird-eye’s view of the campus, before zooming in to its perimeter and taking us through an elevated view of the adjacent roads and parking structures that surround the building. The video then zooms in to the centre of the building, showing off a performance stage and a massive fountain in the middle. Apple had begun construction work on the new campus earlier this year, shortly after obtaining unanimous approval from the Cupertino City Council back in November last year. The first phase of the construction is slated for completion in 2016. Last week, an aerial photograph of the site showed that construction was well underway, with demolition work appearing to have been completed. The photo also showed that a small wall had been erected around the building’s perimeter, presumably into which the foundation would be poured.
